NRCC Raising Money Off Of Charlie Bass In NH CD2 (UPDATED)

(UPDATED) Uh, Charlie Bass is in CD2, not CD1, as Pete claims in his fundraising email below…. Someone might want to tell Sessions and the NRCC.

The NRCC, not content with running just a single Congressional race in New Hampshire this cycle (Frank Guinta’s), is now raising money off of Charlie Bass’s candidacy in NH CD2.

From yesterday’s Pete Sessions fundraising email (bold mine):

The best news in all of this? The time for strong leaders and sharp minds to emerge in the Republican Party has never been better. The Democrats in Congress have created an incredible opportunity for us by exposing just how vulnerable they are, including some legislators long thought to be untouchable.

Who will step up to the plate? Well, we’ve had incredible success in recruiting some of the best candidates we’ve seen in a long time, including former Rep. Charlie Bass (NH-01); state senator Robert Hurt (VA-05); Greg Newman, the mayor of Hendersonville, North Carolina (NC-11); state representative Scott Bruun (OR-05); and former state senator Joe Heck (NV-03). It’s no secret that these individuals come from heated battleground states, and their victories could represent significant turning points — both literally and figuratively — for our party.
